mcculloch
(b. 1898, Orange, NJ, d. 1972). McCulloch received his M.D. from Columbia University's College of Surgeons and Physicians. He is perhaps best known for "A Logical Calculus Immanent in Nervous Activity", which he co-authored with Walter Pitts. This paper is widely credited with being a seminal contribution to neural network theory, the theory of automata, the theory of computation, and cybernetics. < Discussion> < References> Ken Aizawa
