[L:149] A type of method of "treating at, and working at, scientific cognitions", opposed to the synthetic method. The analytic method is the "method of discovery", which proceeds from the conditioned and the grounded and goes to principles. Also called the regressive method. [A14/B28] Transcendental philosophy involve the analysis of the a priori concepts of human knowledge, and the derivation of other concepts from them.
