ATTRIBUTE
[L:66] In Kant's discussion of discursive cognition, attributes are opposed to primitive or constitutive characteristics. Both are type o essential properties of something; attributes are necessary as "consequences of other characteristics", namely the primitive characteristics which stand as "grounds" of a thing's necessary characteristics.
