DOCTRINE OF ELEMENTS
[L:20] Also a division in the Critique, Kant's doctrine of elements is the "dogmatic part" of Kant's "general logic", viz. "a mere cannon abstracting from all objects". To the doctrine of elements is opposed the doctrine of method, also a part of general logic. General logic, in which "not the slightest consideration is given to objects" is opposed to both pure and applied logic.
