REFLECTION
[L:99] Reflection is one of three "logical acts of the understanding by which concepts are generated as to their form", the other two being comparison and abstraction. Reflection is defined as "the going back over [of] different presentations, how they can be comprehended in one consciousness." Reflection, comparison, and abstraction are "essential and general conditions of generating any concept whatever".
