The Knowledge of God and the Service of God; 5. From Rousseau to Ritschl; 6. A Shorter Commentary on Romans; 7. Theologische Fragen und Antworten; and 8. The Word of God and the Word of Man. Ousted from Germany for opposing Hitler; taught absolute transcendence of God; Bible becomes the Word of God as it is read; all people are elected in Christ.
